TEDx was created in the spirit of TED's mission, "ideas worth spreading." It supports independent organizers who want to create a TED-like event in their own community. Aligned with this goal, we bring to you TEDxManipalUniversity for the first time ever. At TEDxManipalUniversity, a handful of some of the most extraordinary speakers will be sharing their journey, parallel to the theme: EDGE – Explore Discover Grow Engage. 
Come experience TEDxManipalUniversity in its first edition on the 29th of January, 2017.

Each attendee will be given access to a customized delegate kit for themselves along with snacks during break time and a gala dinner with the speakers.

Follow the following three steps:
  1. Fill out the attendee application form.
  2. Get selected, and collect your delegate kit for INR 600.
  3. Turn up that day.

Every attendee will be given a delegate kit, containing the event pass, the event brochure, and a few TEDxManipalUniversity goodies.


08:15 am –All attendees are requested to be present at the venue.
09:00 am – Event starts.
09:00 am – Session 1 – 4 speakers. This session will include one TED global video.
10:30 am – Break: Snacks will be served. Various speakers and other enthusiasts will be showcasing their work.
11:00 am – Session 2 – 4 speakers.
12:30 pm – Break: Various speakers and other enthusiasts will be showcasing their work. Other performances lined up for the attendees.
01:00 pm – Session 3 – 3 speakers. This session will include one TED global video.
02:00 pm – Event ends.

On the evening of the 29th of January, a gala dinner will be held for the individual interaction of speakers and attendees. This dinner will focus on further discussing the ideas put forward by the speakers where the attendees can simply walk up to the speakers and talk to them.

Terms and Conditions

  1. All rights of admission lie with the executive committee of TEDx Manipal University.
  2. Rights of admission are reserved.
  3. Under no circumstances shall any rejection of audience application be reconsidered.
  4. The criteria for admission will be based on the answers to the audience application form.
  5. The selection of the audience shall not be considered on any personal basis, and the decision will lie with the executive committee evaluating the form.
  6. In case of discrepancies with regard to the form, the committee will contact the applicant individually.
  7. Under no circumstances should any member of the executive committee or the organizing team be contacted or pursued to award the admission rights through any unfair manner.
  8. Any such attempt to obtain admission shall lead to immediate disqualification of the form.
  9. In the event of any such disqualification, the applicant will be notified by an executive committee member. The disqualified applicant may appeal via an email pertaining to his/her application and may justify grounds to be reinstated into the pool of applicants. Such cases shall be administered by the HR department.
  10. For any questions regarding the process, any member of the organizing committee may be approached.
